We had sex 2 - 3 weeks after her last menstruation and she had them irregularly. She took Nordette as ECP 18 hours after. 6 days after the dose, she bled heavily lasting for 3 days. She also had abdominal pains then and she said it was just like her period. I'm not sure exactly if it is her period or just the withdrawal bleeding.
Was that a sign that she's not pregnant?

Hello ZA,
You could call it withdrawal bleeding and it was triggered by taking the ECP. My concern is as a woman who is ten years post menopause, your ovaries have stopped producing estrogen and progesterone.
An ECP contains a high dose of a synthetic form of progesterone. I do not know, other than the fact you bled, if there would be any consequence to taking the pill, in your case.

I felt sad, angry like anything, Bloated, hungry tired and warm. But all these feelings are now almost gone... its just that I eat more sleep more if I tell you the truth I am feeling good. Just tell me could there be any chance that I turned out to be pregnant?

No I am sorry if I confused you. My bleeding was on 7th day after I took ECP and it was bright red for 1 day and than it reduced in flow and third day there was only spotting.

HELLO. I have a question. i took nordette after my bf and i had sex on the last day of my menstrual period. i took it on the same day of the sex. he ejaculated inside. 8 pills in total, after 7 days from the last dose of nordette, i got this brown discharge. is that the withdrawal bleeding?
