im aware that some of the treatments for this disease can cause a higher risk for cancer but i havent found that it directly causes cancer if untreated. i have an appointment with specialist on the 6th to find out weather or not i have it. by my research , based on the theory from an er doctor and x-rays took at the time that there is a high % that i have this.

Hi, My brother had ankylosing spondylitis and diagnosed with stomach cancer, I think their must be some relationship between ankylosing spondylitis and cancer.

Anon - Can you let us know where you are getting this information? I've searched multiple clinical references and am not finding any data except reports indicating that there is no clear relationship between Ankylosing Spondylitis and cancer.
