Does anyone know how a Canadian can get health insurance for treatment in U.S.?

I desperately need to seek a Urological treatment in the U.S. We have great travel health insurance, but I wanted to see if we could get other health coverage. Are there health insurance companies that will take Canadian citizens?

Guide

Hello cmypain,
Are you trying to get health insurance with a United States insurance company? If so, that will not be easy. Insurance providers are very hesitant to accept and will deny acceptance of customers with pre-existing health conditions. Under the current health care bill in the U.S., only individuals age 18 and younger cannot be denied health insurance coverage because of a pre-existing health condition.

My only suggestion is to make inquiries with various U.S. insurance companies, such as Aetna, Anthem or Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
