Extreme Feet Pain

For 6 months my husband has not been able to walk, he says he has excruciating pain in both feet, can hardly walk and has trouble sleeping. When he flexes his toes" he says they feel tight, like they are going to rip, under his feet between the ball of his foot to his toes are extremely painful, we went to a clinic, they drew blood and diagnosed him with arthritis, gave him Arthritis med's, they aren't helping, he's on pain medication, helps a little, he is so depressed and is at the end of his rope, says he doesn't want to live this way, whats next? What can you recommend? We need a miracle, thank you.
