Emergency contraception should be taken only for emergencies, not used as a method of birth control.
For two-pill dosing: take one the Postinor pill within 72 hours of having unprotected sex (the sooner the better). Take the second pill 12 hours after the first. You should not take more than is recommended. Be sure to read the information that comes with the medication so you know what to expect.
