Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,

Since you took the pill correctly, it will effectively prevent pregnancy. Emergency contraception can cause side effects such as a disrupted period, irregular bleeding, cramps, tender breasts, nausea etc.
These symptoms may mirror pregnancy, but it is only side effects of the pill.
If you are still worried however, you can always take a pregnancy test to ease your mind.
