Hi, im 23 and me and my dh are trying to conceive. This would be our 3rd cycle. I ovulated 3 to 4 days ago and im experiencing dark brown/black sticky and slimy discharge. I've never had this before. My period isnt due for about 10 days.

You mention a "3rd cycle". Are you receiving some form of infertility treatment or are you trying to conceive naturally?

The dark brown to black sticky or slimy vaginal discharge is neither a sign of ovulation or implantation bleeding.

At the time of ovulation, vaginal discharge is clear and elastic or stretchy.

Implantation bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood.

The dark brown to black discharge signals old blood. I am concerned what the cause may be. I suggest you consult your gynecologist.
