I've have had a lot of anxiety attacks. The thing is.. I've dealt with it my whole lot but I did not realize what it was just a few months ago. And I've been learning how to cope with it.. I learned drinking caffeine takes effect and makes the anxiety worst, so i stopped drinking caffeine. But i also work in retail so there is a lot of customers that comes in to shop and i think in my head that people are staring at me since i'm a cashier and that triggers my anxiety... and I often come home cranky or grumpy because of my anxiety and that affects my husband. I don't know what to do to deal with a big amount of people. I do not want to be dependent on medications. Any advice or suggestion??

Guide

Hi,
I can understand that you don't want to take medications, that is your choice. It sounds like you have tried a cope with your anxiety on your own but have been unsuccessful. Consider counseling. A well trained psychologist can help you identify triggers that cause anxiety and help you develop positive ways to cope. This problem may be too big for you to handle alone.
Wishing you the best,
Maryann
