Hi auxton,
I am sorry to hear you are not sleeping well...that can effect every-other aspect of your life, and it is completely physically and emotionally draining. What to do? The most important thing to do is find the cause(s), so that you can identify what is happening in order to begin finding solutions/treatments.
Sleep problems come in many forms, including:
1. Environmental sleep disturbances related to light, sound, comfort, etc.
2. Lifestyle-related sleep problems can be attributed to your diet, exercise, weight, medical conditions, excess stress, anxiety, etc.
3. Sleep apnea or other sleep conditions could also be effecting your sleep, and can be diagnosed by a health care professional.
Some of the factors you can change (darken your room, add white noise, consume less caffeine or alcohol, increase exercise, etc), while other factors may need to be diagnosed by a doctor (sleep apnea, anxiety, insomnia, etc).
