I had ovarian cysts and when they went in to remove them, they had to removed both fullopian tubes, my whole left ovary and most of my right. I also do not get periods. They had me on birth control to try to prevent me from going into early menopause which it was making me bleed like I was having a period but I am 26 yes old this happened to me when I was 20!! Will I ever be able to have a child without having to do ivf??? Or do I even have eggs to do ifv???

What does your GYN say? I'm not in your age bracket lol... But after your surgery, did you have regular menstrual cycles? I'm asking because I had my right ovary, right tube, and left tube removed 10 days ago.

I did have a period right after, but after that I was on hormone pills (birth control) to regulate my periods and help from early menopause. After a while I stop taking them. I still have that peace of ovary but I doubt there are any eggs. Why did you have your surgery?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us with your questions about conceiving naturally.

Unfortunately, without Fallopian tubes, no left ovary and partial right ovary, I do not think you can conceive without in vitro fertilization. I do not know if your right ovary still contains eggs. You need to discuss this with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann
