the doctor performed a papsmear which made me bleed a bit more.. then a transvaginal ultrasound.. the doctor then told me that i had some bleeding around the placenta, and that i would miscarry because there was no visible heart beat. it has been a week since i went to the ER. i have not bled, i still have my usual symptoms. i have an appointment in a week, is there any hope that i will continue with my pregnancy? i am terribly scared, and i hope that by some miracle my baby will be ok...

Your obstetrician will probably do another ultrasound during your appointment. A repeat ultrasound may be more accurate than the one that was done in the ER. Don't give up hope yet. You will be in my prayers.
