Q:

I had my eyes dilated by a Retinologist yesterday. When I left with. Sunglasses on I could hardly open my eyes and my eyes hurt. Now the next day at 5:11pm nothing has changed. Even indoors I had to turn off the ceiling lights. Can this be normal?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

It's normal for vision to be blurry and light-sensitive for several hours after the procedure but since this has been 24 hours, you need to contact your eye specialist as it's unusual for the side effects to last this long.
Best,
Susan
