Q:

i had my period on the 5th of november and had sex with my partner on the 13th. I took postinor 2 at 5am and exactly 12hours later I took d second pill. I bled on the 19th for 3 days and it felt like normal menstrual bleeding.

I haven't seen my period and disgusting premenstrual cramps I normally witness is very small but I experience back pains as I normally would when my period is coming. I am worried, urine pregnancy tests are negative, why am I not seeing my period? Thanks

Hello. Thank you for your message.

ECP can cause your next period to be early or late. It may have a lighter or heavier flow as well. If you had withdrawal bleeding plus a negative test result, this indicates you are not pregnant. You will just have to wait for your period to sort itself out.

Hi again,

We can't predict when your period will come. That you had another negative result should reassure you. Try to relax and it will come when it's ready. Stress will just delay it more.

Thank you so much for the support. You must have been right about the stress factor. It has been stressful at work. But my period started today. Regards.
