How soon can i take a blood pregnancy test?

Hello Anonymous,

The vaginal bleeding that started 11 days after taking an emergency contraceptive means the pill worked and was effective in preventing pregnancy.

Taking an ECP a second time and so soon after the first dose seriously upset the normal hormonal balance that regulates your menstrual cycle.

Do you have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism? Is your menstrual cycle normally regular?

Considering your history of a thyroid condition and taking an emergency contraceptive in both February and March, I think you should contact your primary care physician, who may order blood tests to check hormone levels.

Regards,
Maryann

Hello. me and my.boyfriend had sex last month on the 15th we were both virgins he did not cum at all and we used protection (condom). I ovulated 3 or 4 days later. My period has not come yet and I should have been due on the 20th of this month. I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms except for urinating a lot during the nighttime, I drink lots of water 2-3 bottles a day. I've also been stressing extremely lately because of some current things happening. When should I take a pregnancy test? Please Respond! Thank You
