Q:

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend the day I got off my period and the following few days. He, however did not ejaculate inside of me. Now, it's been a few days and I am getting these period like cramps. But I am still 2 weeks due to my period.

Could it mean I am pregnant? Are the chances high? Or if not, what could it be?

Thank you so much.

Hi,
You are more likely to get pregnant if you have unprotected sex during the time of ovulation. This is the time in the menstrual cycle when an egg is released from an ovary. Generally, ovulation happens mid-cycle, about 14 days before the next period. Some women have pelvic cramping around the time of ovulation. It is called Mittelschmerz. This may be the cause of your cramping. If your period is late by a week, you can take a home pregnancy test.
