have you ever had radiation to that part of your body? thats what happened to me, but it did heal eventually. seemed like it took forever though. Also, are you doing any kind of chemo? this will also slow down your healing time. and one last thing, are you or have you ever been a smoker? I was, and it really made a difference when i cut down on my smoking.

Welcome to EmpowHER. The Healing process of an incision is different for everyone. It also has to do with age, weight and your body's immune system. Were you given guidance and instructions on how to take care of your incision at home. If you were and you have follow them as your doctor ordered you to. Let your doctor know your concerns, he is the only one that can tell you why is your incision not healing.
