Hi Anon,

Thank you for choosing the EmpowHER community and for sharing your questions. I am sorry to hear that you are having these uncomfortable experiences. Vaginal itching, back pain and abdominal pain is not normal after having sex. I would make an appointment with your doctor ASAP.

The only person who can tell you for sure if you have an STD is your doctor who will perform an exam and administer a panel of STD testing. Anon, you don't want to wait any longer to get into the doctor. You can also go to a family planning clinic as well if you can't get into your doctor right away.

In the meantime, here is a link to the EmpowHER community about symptoms of common STDs

Are you going to call your doctor?

Best,

Kristin
