I have been having been using prostonol for the past month almost 5 times a week and at one point i took misoprostol and now i occasionally have pains on the left side of my belly and i have had sex twice recently and am worried cause am not pregnant

Misoprostol is a prostaglandin. It works by reducing the amount of acid released by the stomach and protecting the stomach lining, which helps to reduce the risk of stomach ulcers.

Misoprostol may cause abortion, premature birth, or birth defects if taken during pregnancy.

Anonymous, if you must take this drug, it is better that you are not pregnant.

How long have you been trying to become pregnant? If you and your husband have been trying to conceive for at least six months to one year, then speak with your gynecologist, who can rule out an infertility problem.
