Another great product for menopausal women is a all natural buckwheat hull pillow. There are no synthetics in the product to block natural air flow.Check out : www.harvestpillows.com for additional information.

There's a way to cool you whole bed, the ChiliPad: http://www.chilitechnology.com It’s a bed chiller! It’s a mattress pad that is cooled with water, and you can set it on a timer for different temperatures (anywhere down to 46 degrees!) and you can also get a dual zone one that sets different temperatures for each side of the bed. Comes with a remote control which is great when I’m groggy and don’t want to get up to change the temp. I too refuse to go on HRT, and having a drug-free mechanical solution to the problem has been a life-saver for me. ALSO – I got fewer hot flashes during the day because of getting a full night of sleep.

The pillow is amazing! And don't forget to stay hydrated. You should always have a bottle of water next to your bed. That will help as well.

Hi Belle,

I have hunted on the web and cannot find the unit that I purchased a while back. I know mine was made by Sharp and it was purchased at Costco. I just can't seem to find the one with the hose attachment that I like.

Sorry about that. Let me know if you find something you like. I'm going to continue my quest.

Best,

Michelle

Hi Belle,

Here is the information on the chillow pillow. This came from one of my blogs on the site.

Another product that impressed me and my friendly, informal panel of testers is called the Chillow Pillow. You can find them at www.amazon.com . Chillow pillows go inside your own pillowcases, and as they sense your body temperature rising, they cause your pillows to feel cooler. Isn’t that just great?

The portable air conditioner on wheels can be purchased at Costco and or other retail stores like Sears etc. They typically run about $400. You can wheel it right next to your bed. It has a hose attachment that will keep you cool and not freeze out your partner. It's a great product to have in your home. It's portable and can go from room to room with you if need be. Let me see if I can find a direct link for you where to purchase the portable air conditioner.

Hope this helps. Sorry, we sent you to the wrong part of the site for this information.

Let me know what you think of the products. The pillow is amazing! And don't forget to stay hydrated. You should always have a bottle of water next to your bed. That will help as well.

Best in health,
Michelle

Hey Belle, I think what you're looking for might be found at this link to one of Michelle King Robson's blogs.

Our founder was recently on a talk show in the California area and discussed the wicking pajamas and a cooling pillow.

Some other products that might interest you can be found in our products section.

Let me know if this is what you're looking for. Thanks.
