Guide

Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for your question.

I am assuming that you had your uterus removed during a hysterectomy. Without a uterus, it is impossible to carry a fetus to term.

Conception following a hysterectomy is possible. It is an extremely rare complication that happens in less than 1 in a 1,000,000 cases. It would result in an ectopic pregnancy, where the fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tubes. It can be a life threatening situation.

Regards,
Maryann
