I had unprotected sex ;he didn't ejaculate inside .
So i took an emergency contraceptive pill next morning to be on the safe side.
And now it been over 22days i am not having period.
I have done hcg urine test 3 times and it says negative.
I am worried now.
Should i go for hcg blood quantitative test now!
Plz respond

Don't take EC unless it's a real emergency. Taking it "just in case" means you'll have to deal with the many side effects it causes, including delayed periods, which in turn cause women to stress out over pregnancy. A condom will prevent all this.
August 29, 2017 - 4:48amA delayed menstrual cycle is a common side effect of EC. Since your tests are negative, this side effect is the reason for the delay. Your period will arrive when it's ready - that could be today or next week. We cannot predict this date.
