I took both pills in 1 dosage and still took another dosage 14 hrs later making it 4 tablets, will it be effective???

Thank you for writing.

I assume you are writing about emergency contraception? If so, taking both doses at once will not reduce it's effectiveness. Taking more was unnecessary but won't change the effectiveness. Your side effects may be stronger, however. Read up on the side effects of the medication you took to know more.
