I urinated dark blood on yesterday.

It started out with just a little blood and my urine has terrible odor. Is this old blood because I have not had a period in a long time, or should I see a gynecologist about this?

Begin by calling your primary care physician. Dark blood in urine and a foul odor must be evaluated.

How old are you? When did you last have a period?
If you have not had a period for 12 months in a row, you are in menopause.

If you are younger and have had a period within the last year, call and speak with your gynecologist.
