Soo... questions questions..
Im on seasonique, the extended method of birth control. I missed a day so i took two the next day on aug 1st. My boyfriend and i had sex that night and the next morning without a condom. I then took my birth control at my normal time at 10 am. This is all on week 8 of my birth control. I have been taking it for a long time and rarely miss, if i do i double up the next day like recently. I am also on antibiotics for my skin though, Minocycline, and i heard that increases my chances. What are my chances of being pregnant..? My period wont be due for 4 weeks and 3 days and obviously I can't wait that long..So you think i am and when is the soonest that I can take a HPT??

Hi, um i was wondering. My girlfriend recently got on the pill. She's on her second week of birth control. Its the Orthotrricyclen-lo brand. I know its possible to get pregnant on the pill, we had unprotected sex today, i was just wondering the odds?

Hi I am on Jaz and I have been for like 5 or 6 months. I had sex on Saturday night so like 2 days ago and I ended my pack the night before last. So I didn't take a pill last night and I am scared that the sperm could have still been in me and cause me to get pregnant. Should I take plan B (in that case I need to go get it soon b/c it will be 72 hours tonight) or will I be fine? I am suppose to start my period pretty soon.

Hi I am currently taking Yaz the pill and have been on it for less than 1 month, my Husband and I had unprotected sex, I forgot to take the pill the next day is there a chance that I might be pregnant, if I don't take it within 24 hours? I have a 18 month old daughter.

Hi there. I'm currently taking microlite, a 100mg levonorgestrel/20mg ethinylestradiol combined contraceptive pill. This is my fourth month of taking the pill. I am a Wednesday starter, and started a new pack last Wednesday, the 29th of July. The last time I had unprotected sex was the Thursday after. I then forgot to take my pills this Saturday and Sunday, the 1st and 2nd of August. I took two pills today, Monday and will do so again tomorrow. Had this occurred in the middle of a pack I probably wouldn't be particularly worried, but since I missed pills in the first week, and since sperm can stay alive inside you for up to 3 to 5 days I would like to ask if anyone has any advise?

Thank you for the advice. So do you reckon i am safe? ive been getting belly cramps and i finish my pill tomorow and usually come on on the friday after do you think this is a good sign of coming on and not being pregnant?

Unfortunately, I can't tell you if you're "safe", and can not tell you the percentage chance that you may be pregnant. We can only tell you if your behavior was risky on a scale of "slight" to "extremely", and the rest is up to your body, the timing...things we have no control over.
Pregnancy symptoms do not typically occur until about weeks 5-6..or even later. Some women, particularly those trying to become pregnant, may notice signs as early as 4 weeks. "Belly cramps" are not an early sign of pregnancy typically (they occur later), but every woman is different. Pregnancy symptoms and pre-menstrual symptoms are extremely similar, if not identical.
I don't understand your timing: you "finish your pill tomorrow" (meaning the hormone-containing pills?), then and your period starts 4 days later...is that correct? If so, the only thing you can do is wait until Friday for your period to begin. Good luck!

Hello, i been on the pill for 9 months and the other week during my second week of the pill packet which was a thursday i miss it by 14 hours i then took my pill then and one at my usual time on friday so i took two that day i then had unprotected sex on the saturday do you think i would be at risk?
