Hi,
This is a very personal choice. Are you speaking about your immediate family, such as a spouse and children or extended family, such as parents, in-laws and cousins? How do your family members handle stress? If they are highly emotionally, you may want to wait until after you have had the tests and know the results. If they are supportive, you may want to tell them before the testing so that they can give you the support that you need.
