I'm 19 days late on my period and I haven't been seeing signs of my period coming I took two home pregnancy test it came out negative the doctor said it's to early to tell because I'm only like two weeks am I suppose to wait like my 5-6 week I also did a blood work and my results didn't come back yet . I don't wanna get excited and I'm not pregnant

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am assuming that your physician ordered a blood pregnancy test. A blood hCG test is more accurate than a urine test.

Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced by the cells that form the placenta, can be detected in blood about 11 days following conception.

Once your doctor received the lab results, I am certain you will be notified.
