I've been getting my period for almost ten years and I have never been good at keep track because it came on so randomly. But it hasn't come on at all and it worries me at first I thought it was a yeast infection but I don't have symptoms. But sometimes when I wipe its white milky stuff and when I looked it up online it sad that it was something that happened before your period, that wasn't the first time it happened but I didn't know it happen before my period. But I still haven't got it. Is there something I can do to bring it on? Or a way to figure out whats wrong? I can't go to my sisters they're all younger than me and my mom is mom and it would be nerve wrecking to tell her and get her all worked up before I even know for sure whats wrong or I'm not overreacting. I'm not the skinniest person but I'm not obese either. This has never happened before. Please help.

Hello Anonymous,

Breast tenderness and bloating might be premenstrual symptoms. If you do not get a period this month, consult your physician. with a physical exam, obtaining a medical history, and any blood tests or diagnostic tests, a cause can be identified.

Hello Anonymous,

Stress, illness and extreme weight gain or weight loss are just three factors other than pregnancy that can cause a late or missed period.

If you do not get a period at all this month, consider speaking with your gynecologist or primary care physician. Blood tests to check hormonal levels and a physical exam can help determine the reason for this.

I'm also 20 years old and my periods have been irregular since I first got them at age 12, however they've been on time for the past 3-4 months until this month. I am 1 week late, I hope this is not tmi because I am really worried, but my bf fingered me earlier this month and then I felt precm on his pants with my fingers but he didn't have any on his fingers. However I accidentally touched myself down there and now I am worried that I could be pregnant...there was no intercourse and he didn't have any precm on his fingers. I've been cramping a lot and it seemed like I bled faintly a tiny bit this morning but now it's completely gone. Any thoughts? I think it's impossible for me to be pregnant but please help

Hi, I'm 20 and have never had sex before. But my boyfriend has come all over me. And this has been happening for atleast three weeks now and my period is late by a week. And I'm usually always on a 28-30 day cycle. Should I be worried or is it just other factors affecting my usually normal period?

Hi, I'm 20 and am 2 weeks late. Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 months ago (August) but it was literally like 2 seconds and then he pulled out. I had my regular period right on time for the past 2 months but now it is 2 weeks late (November). I have lost like 2 kg's since i just don't really eat that much during exams as well as I have had stress since it is my exam time. I have no symptoms of pregnancy, and i do get those pre-cramps every now and again before my period usually starts as well as i have ovulated this month. So am I just late or am i somehow magically pregnant?

Hi,
I am 20 and my period has always been pretty regular. I got it the 18th of September and have not gotten it this month. It's worrying me because I've never missed my period before. I've never had sex before. My boyfriend and I have tried but since I've never had sex it hurts before he can even go inside, (he wore a condom when this happened) so I know I can't be pregnant. I recently had a stomach procedure done and due to that I lost me appetite for a week and lost 5 pounds very quickly, in 5 days. Could it be the weight loss that's stopping my period from coming this month? Or is it just late?
