I was diagnosed with Mantle cell lymphoma, Stage4B agressive last 2008. Almost I died. I specifically test benzene based solvent for more than 7 years and do sampling of various types of toxic solvent you can imagine. My life is a good case coz Im working in a recycling business and environmental waste treatment last time. Now I dont have work. the company terminated me. The doctor say I can only have compensation if there is a relapse for which the doctor also told me there is high percentage of relapse after 3-4 year of remission among patients of NHL. Now im getting flu everyweek since last Jan 2009, the day I left the hospital after my bone marrow transplant.

Got 2 son and my wife is the one sustaining me. Now im at a loss coz cannot work normally due to frequent attack of flu from public. just want to share my experience.

I am truly moved by your story and so very sorry of the difficult situation that you and your family are in. It seems like a double tragedy- you are first diagnosed with cancer and then can only get compensation if you have a relapse. My words pale to the burden that you bare, but you and your family will be in my prayers.
