Can I be having a miscarriage ? I came on my period on December 21 and on January 21 I came on but I was literally spotting. I came on the 21 and was suppose to go off on the 25th. It's now the 27 and I'm still bleeding. On the 21,22, 23 I spotted then the 24 and the 25 I had a very light period. Every since the 26 I've been bleeding harder. I'm 21 and have an almost 10 month old daughter, have unprotected sex and I'm not on birth control. I don't smoke or drink.

Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern that you might be having a miscarriage.
It is possible that this irregular bleeding-spotting to heavy flow that has lasted longer than your period normally does, and the fact that you have unprotected sex, could be a miscarriage in the very early weeks of a pregnancy.
Many women miscarry before they even realize that they are pregnant. They mistake the bleeding for their monthly period.
To be certain, please contact your physician.
