Q:

Missed pill. What are my chances of being pregnant?

Hi there! I am on aviane 21, and after my off week I missed my first 2 days of the fresh pack. Today (day 3) i took 2 pills to make up for it, however I was active during all those days. What are my chances of being pregnant? He ejaculated in me 2 out of 3 times and the one session without cum was long enough that I'm almost sure there was pre-cum involved.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your prompt answer! Does it help if I tell you that yes he ejaculated in me on Wednesday (1st missed day), not on Thursday (but there was an hr of sex) and last night he did again (3rd day, I had just taken 2 pills to make up for the missing 2)?

Thanks!

Dear Anon,

Your risk of pregnancy is the same-- you had unprotected sex and like I said, although you may have been protected by your other pills..you still missed two days therefore decreasing effectiveness of the pill. Please wait 2-3 weeks to test for pregnancy.

Hi Anonymous,

Pre-cum is not what you should be mainly worried about, you should be more worried about the actual sperm. Unfortunately, even though you may have been protected by your last pack, any time you have unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy-- you can wait about 3 weeks or wait to see if your next period arrives, if it is late then test for pregnancy.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
