A mole has appeared in the last 2 weeks at the side of my earlobe (on my face) - why?

2 weeks ago I thought I was getting a boil , could feel it but, never bothered to look at it until today. It looks like a mole. I am a 51 year old female. What should/can i do?

Moles occur when skin cells cluster into a group instead of being spread out in the skin.  Typically it is not cancerous and no cause for alarm.  But I suggest that you have it checked to rule out that possibility.

If it is not cancerous, you can still get it removed if you wish.
