MORNING AFTER PILL MESSING UP MY PERIOD

hello, I took a morning after pill 22 hours after the act (which only had precm present) and one week later I started what seemed like a period, it lasted 5 days and was heavy then light (like a period). My period was supposed to come 4-3 days ago but it still hasn't showed up, I know hormonal pills do mess up your cycle but my question is, when should I be expecting my period? And how he pill worked if I took it 3 days before ovulation?

Guide

Hi, mbxmo

Thank you for posting.

Plan B comes in a one-pill dose. If taken within 72 hours and preferably within 12 hours after a contraceptive accident or unprotected sex, it can prevent pregnancy by doing one of three things:
Temporarily stops the release of an egg from the ovary
Prevents fertilization
Prevents a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus

I can't predict when your period will arrive. Some women get it at the expected time or soon after while others don't.
