Hello Anonymous,

In general, a woman is most likely to conceive during what is called her fertile window. This includes the five days before ovulation and the actual day of ovulation.

There are ways to track ovulation. You may find this article helpful:

The gender of a baby is determined by the male partner. There is no medical evidence to confirm that any of the following suggestions work, but you could consider them.

You're more likely to conceive a boy if...

You have sex on the day of ovulation. Having sex as close to ovulation as possible increases the odds of having a boy.

Your partner has a high sperm count. He can do this by abstaining from orgasm for about 2-5 days before ovulation. Your partner keeps his genitals cool by wearing boxer shorts and loose-fitting trousers.Don't smoke or drink. Men who smoke and drink heavily are more likely to have low sperm count.Don't take illegal drugs. Marijuana has been shown to have a similar effect as cigarettes when it comes to sperm count. Cocaine and other types of hard drugs are also known to hamper sperm production.

Hopefully, you and your partner will lovingly welcome baby regardless of gender.

Regards,
Maryann
