Left breast has been biopsied for a small lump which was not cancer.3 years ago. I am 67 years old. No family history. Yes, I am going for a mamogram. I am concerned and would really like any insight you can offer. Thank you.

The mammogram should show any abnormalities that could be the cause of the increase in breast size and the onset of tenderness. Diagnostic imaging is most helpful in making a diagnosis.
