Hello,
I was on my 6th day of my cycle (just finishing my period). The condom split so I took the first tablet of postinor2 2 hours later (1am). We then had unprotected sex 6 hours later (7am). I took the 2nd postinor tablet 3 hours later(10am).
8 days later I had heavy bleeding lasting 4 days. Firstly, is this a sign that postinor worked?
Since then i have had no sign of my period.
In the last 2 weeks (aboit 22nd day of cycle) I have had the flu and been unwell. This has all made me quite anxious.
My period cycle is quite irregular.

Hi,
What is I2? Do you mean Postinor 2? It can cause irregularity in your cycle. Some women get withdrawal bleeding after ECP, some do not. It's recommended that if you don't get your period within a week of the expected time, to test for pregnancy. So, you should do that.

Hi there,
I had my period on 16apr-24apr
After that I had unprotected sex on 11may and I took postinor on 12 May and one tablet 13 hours later.
However, after that I had unprotected again on 12 may and 13 May.
On 18 May I had my period which lasted until 27 May.
And on 31st may, I had my period again until 6 June.
On 24 June to 28 June I had some extremely extremely light brownish spotting. But it's not even blood at all.
Could I be pregnant? Because I hadn't had my period for whole month of June, but I've Been experiencing cramps since June 23.

Hi,
Having your period was proof you are not pregnant. If you doubt this, test for pregnancy. Your cycle should go back to normal with the next period. If your periods continue to be irregular (where they were not before) See your GYN.

Hi guys I took postinor 2 like over a month ago..I have never missed my period until now..I had my period last month,m supposed to see it now but it hasn't come, can you guys help me.

Hi,
ECP can cause irregularity. If you had your period previously, pregnancy shouldn't be a concern. You can always test to ease your mind if you are still worried.

I had unprotected sex on Saturday, which I used the first tablet of postinor2 on Sunday,again unprotected sex that same Sunday night nd I used d second tablet immediately,which am meant to see my period on Tuesday... I had unprotected sex on Tuesday nd I used postinor1 on Wednesday, I used 2tablets....today is Friday haven't seen my period...

Hi,
You are not using this medication correctly. It's supposed to be used as emergency contraception only. In two pill dosing, 1 pill is taken as soon as possible (and within 72 hours), and the other pill, 12 hours later. You don't keep having unprotected sex and taking more pills. You have likely caused a hormonal imbalance by taking too many pills. Call your doctor for further instructions.

My last period was on the 29th of may(Monday) , on Saturday I had unprotected sex and tk postinor2 immediately, on Sunday morning I tk d 2nd pill( a lil bit late Dan 12hrs), on Thursday I noticed a bleeding discharge which lasted for like 3days, now its 30th of June and I'm still expectating my period.

Hi,
The light bleeding is withdrawal bleeding - typically indicating the pill was effective. However, it's advised to test for pregnancy if your period is more than a week late. ECP can cause a delay in your period and may change the flow when it does arrive, so keep this in mind.

We had unprotected sex on 25th May just after 6 days from periods (Due 19th). After around 10 days there is another period happened. So seems all went well.
June 28, 2017 - 5:18pmBut problem is this month cycle is late till today (11 days late) which is confusing. Do we have a risk of pregnancy?
