my son had tubes put in last month since then he has has alot of pain and not sleeping pulling on his ear and the doctor says his tubes are fine can he be having headaches

he crys for hours pulling at his ears and doesnt sleep at night anymore seems to have bad pain in his ears

Hi Anonymous,

So sorry to hear that your son is in constant pain. Usually, with ear tubes, once they are in place children will resume to normal within 24 hours. If it has been a month and your son is still waking up at night crying and tugging on his ears, then this is definitely something to bring up-AGAIN and if needed, get a second opinion. It's been a month, your son should not be experiencing this kind of pain.
