Panic Attack

For long time, I didn't have a panic attack. Yesterday, I had a panic attack, I worked too much and at same time, I was too stressed emotionally. In the evening, I had a panic attack that lasts for 5-10 minutes, I felt dizzy, couldn't breathe, I felt I'd faint... and I was crying. Once I went back home, I rested and fell asleep. I woke up after about 9 hours of sleep, I had a headache and I felt at same time I wanted to sleep more but I didn't want to oversleep. The headache lasted for like 4-5 hours straight, is it because of panic attack or just needed to sleep more?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

You may be over stressing yourself and need to find better ways of coping with anxiety.

Consider scheduling a physical exam with your primary care physician to rule out any underlying condition that might be contributing.

Regards,
Maryann
