Q:

Period came 2 weeks early?

Is it really my period if it's 2 weeks early( 1/10)? It's not normal for me to get an early period. My last period started 6/9 and ended on 11/9 after a five day course of norethisterone. Could the medication be the one affecting my cycle? Should I go see a doctor or is this completely normal?

hello i am still that lady that contated you about my monthly being early. like a week early. it was really light and went away. i did a home pregnacy test and it said positive. i was happy yesterday. today was very weird because it seems like my monthly is here. can this be a sign of twins for two eggs being implanted into my uterus or can it be that i am pregnent and still can get my monlthy?

Hello Anonymous,

Are you having vaginal bleeding that resembles menstrual bleeding or is it just spotting? Is the discharge pink or brownish in color or is it bright red?

I think you must contact your gynecologist. You have had a positive urine pregnancy test and are now having vaginal bleeding. You need to be examined by your doctor. We cannot continue an internet guessing game.

Hello Anonymous,

I would like to welcome you to the EmpowHER website and thank you for seeking our help with your question.

You might be thinking that this was implantation bleeding rather than an actual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty, more like spotting. It is pink to brownish in color. It usually occurs about a week to a few days before your period would normally start.

Anonymous, have you had unprotected sex since your last period?

Regards,

Maryann

Hello Anonymous,

If you are having bleeding off and on for a couple of days, I do not think you are pregnant. But, you really should consult your gynecologist.

Maryann

Even though it is a dark red almost brown. I did research and my symptoms
Show that it's implantation bleeding. I have had unprotected sex.
So your saying that I'm not pregnant? Even though it comes and goes? What could be the symptoms be?
