Possibility of pregnancy

On Friday 04/28/2017 my boyfriend and I engaged in sexual inter course in which he ejaculated inside of me. I've been on birth control since November, but I missed a pill the previous Saturday (04/22/2017) which I made up for by taking on that following Sunday taking Sunday's pill late and Saturday's together...haven't missed a pill since. On top of it all I took a Plan B pill Saturday morning after the incident occurred. Should I be worried at all? I know I could just be paranoid, but it's the first time I encounter something like this and I am really worried...please help.

Thank you so much for your help!
I shouldn't have to worry about being pregnant correct?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us for help.

You did the right thing by doubling up to make up for the missed dose.
There was no need to take Plan B, but what is done is done.

You should have been adequately protected from becoming pregnant.

The concern is the effect of the high dose of levonorgestrel in Plan B in addition to the hormones in your birth control pills. Consider speaking to your gynecologist about this.

Regards,
Maryann
