I just turned 43 last week, my period is very normal and like clock work. I took a vacation to my daughters house for two week and now I've been back for two weeks. My period is 10 days late, I have had a white milky discharge and very tired. I taken 2 hpt but neg. I have an appointment this week could I still be pregnant or the start of the change.

Hi I'm 16 and I rarely ever have a period anyway. Like maybe once a year but I had unprotected sex a few times in 3 week and now I feel so nauseous and of course no period to go by. He said he pulled out as soon as he felt it coming but of course My boyfriend is freaking out. Is it likely I'm pregnant?

Welcome to EmpowHER. If you were having a regular cycle and had unprotected sex, your chances for pregnancy to occur are still possible. But, you are also in an age where some women start having peri menopause symptoms. The level of your estrogen — the main female hormone — rises and falls unevenly during peri menopause. Your menstrual cycles may lengthen or shorten, and you may begin having menstrual cycles in which your ovaries don't release an egg (ovulate). You may also experience menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flashes, sleep problems and vaginal dryness. Treatments are available to help ease these symptoms.
