Is it okay to have sex while you're on period?
Does it effect the flow of your period? in my case, very light which is abnormal for me. It's not red. it's brown like when i took plan B last year. (had sex on second day on period)
What's wrong with my body??

Hi,
This is what Carolyn Kubik, a fertility specialist for the website, babycenter, says"It's possible — but highly unlikely. You'd have to have a very short menstrual cycle, which is the time from the first day of one period to the first day of the next period, or a tendency to have long periods. This would bring the time of ovulation closer to the time when you would start bleeding."

I had unprotected sex on my 3rd day of period but my partner pulled out. After that a while, we had sex again and he also pulled out. but between the first time and second, he didn't go to the restroom.
Do I need to take a pill just because there might be a chance that the semen was still in his 'system'?

My bf and I used to hate having sex on period, it was just too nasty. but after I read this interesting blog http://sexonperiod.com I learned how to spice it up during these days. Men are so simple, just give them great sex and you will keep them forever, LOL :)

Hi again Anonymous,
If you had your period, this is an indicator of not being pregnant. Googling "missed period" would assume that you did not have a period and you clearly are having periods. A delay in your period also does not signify that you are pregnant as delayed periods are very common.

I hope this helps answer your question.

same person as above.
last month i had my period on march3-march7 and the next cycle supposed to be march 31 but it came on April 3, which was 3 days late. the flow of the first day was normal and i had normal cramp. I had sex on the next day and my flow was normal also. 3rd day which was yesterday, my flow was very light and the color was different. I googled missed period and early pregnancy came up. Am i pregnant because i was 3 days late and my flow became lighter?

Hi Anon,
To answer your first question, having sex while you are having a period is a matter of personal preference and does not have an impact on the flow, neither increase or decrease.
You need to be seen by your doctor or healthcare provider to determine why you are having an abnormal period in both color and amount of bleeding.
