I'm just wondering how likely it is to carry a healthy baby to term with uterine prolapse? My cervix sits roughly a half a fingers distance inside my vagina (sorry for TMI) and I'm now 5 weeks pregnant. I'm worried that the prolapse will harm the pregnancy somehow. Have any of you carried to term with uterine prolapse? And those of you who have, were you able to deliver vaginally? I need some answers, as my first obgyn appointment isn't until August 10!!! Thanks for any answers ladies!

Hi Ladies,
I am ten weeks pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy, I had a uterine prolapse after the first, so this is my second time going through this.
The biggest difficulty is during week 9ish-14ish these weeks your uterus is heavier, but it is still too small to float on the pelvic rim and not come down. You and your baby should be fine.
Check out www.prolapsehealth.com/forums and you will find all sorts of info on other women going through this to. You are not a lone and things will be okay.
Blessings,
Kristina
