I fee i have uti. I had sex and yesterday i had the urge to pee alot. There was pain also. But i have read that drinking lots of water can help healing uti at home. Now i have started to drink a lot of water. I dont feel like peeing alot nor i have pain while peeing but there is a slight pressure when the utine stops and my urine is hazy in colour. Does this mean that my uti can be treated at home or is it something else

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Hazy urine and the recent need to urinate often are two symptoms that need medical evaluation. Call and schedule an appointment with your primary care physician.

An analysis of your urine specimen will indicate if you do have an infection. If so, the proper antibiotic will be prescribed. That is the only way to treat an infection.

Your doctor can check for glucose or sugar in your urine. These symptoms could signal diabetes.

Regards,
Maryann
