I'm been reading more and more about Vitamin C as an effective cancer treatment and alternative to radiation therapy and other harsh treatments? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks?

From the EmpowHER media reference site on Vitamin C:

"Vitamin C has been proposed as a treatment for cancer, but this claim is very controversial, and there is as yet no scientifically meaningful evidence that it works."

"Observational studies indicate that people with a higher intake of vitamin C have a lower incidence of cataracts, macular degeneration, heart disease , cancer, and osteoarthritis. However, these findings do not indicate that vitamin C supplements will help prevent or treat these conditions."

I am always skeptical when I hear that one "treatment" will help treat ALL cancers, as there are so many different types of cancer, severity and causes, that usually when there is a claim that one pill, drug, supplement, treatment, etc. sounds too good to be true...it probably is.

Vitamin C does have many therapeutic properties, and you can read about what has been proven as effective treatment when using Vitamin C. Perhaps Vitamin C may help in regards to cancer; it just has not been proven yet!
