Is Vitamin D good for my eyes

I have some Macular Degeneration and want to know if Vitamin D & CQ 10 are good for my aging eyes

According to American Optometric Association:
There is significant evidence that vitamin D also plays a role in helping to prevent cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Read more here:

According to Eye Promise.com: CoQ10 protects cells in your retina from all kinds of radiation damage including overexposure to the sun’s rays. That said, a clinical trial has shown CoQ10 may improve the vision of those with age-related eye health issues as well as improve retinal function and retinal pigment. Research shows that if age-related eye health issues are detected early enough and treated with ingredients that include CoQ10, the progression of these issues could be halted.
