Hi Ali
One way to reduce stress is to avoid it in the first place!
I'm not discounting your stress from a busy life; not in the least. But we all put unnecessary stress on ourselves worrying about what other people think, perfectionism, scheduling appointments too close together, etc. Simply being aware of our tendency to do this to ourselves can help.
The problem is that we get into bad habits (myself included) that add stress to our lives and we don't even realize it. Changing those habits isn't easy, but the benefits are tremendous and worth the effort.
At the Coping Community we have simple tips and ideas that are easy to digest in bite-size chunks; many of them are designed to help you to kick those habits avoid putting stress on yourself whenever possible. http://www.TheCopingCommunity.com

Hi Ali,
Thanks for your question. You are right sometimes we just don't have the time to relax with our busy schedule. But, it's important to make time to reduce stress on our body and mind. Too much stress can lead to health problems, such as pain and cancer. Some techniques that can help reduce stress is breath deeply, slow down, reach out by talking to others, finding time to ourselves with a massage or just sitting somewhere quietly.
Hope this helps.
