I'm using Estarylla as my birth control pill I was wondering if the 3 weeks of blue pills (active pills) are they all the same thing like the same amount of hormones each day ? Because I tried to skip my period on them but got a lot of heavy spotting (dark brown) and I'm getting a lot of cramps too and I want to have a regular period since the spotting is heavy so can I continue taking them where I left off ? Because I read Monophasic BIrth control pills some are the same amount for the 3 weeks of active pills Irs

Yes I was skipping my sugar pills for the month instead of taking them I started the new pack of active pills .
So is it okay to stop taking the active pills since my spotting is heavy And once I get my actual period continue taking birth control on my on the 2nd row of my monthly pack ?
