I am 32 and have 3 children. I am not on any birth control and my periods are always on a 28 day cycle. They are always heavy with a lot of clotting and last between 4-6 days. On 4/2/12 I started what I figured was my period but it was really light. My husband and I also had sex the same day with a possibility of an "oops." I prepared for a heavy flow with a pad and it didn't get anything on it all day. I only had blood when I wiped. It wasn't as light as spotting but I have never had such a light period. The next morning it was pinkish brown when I wiped. Halfway through the day it was completely gone. I never had that happen before. I did a bunch of searching online and it sounded like implantation bleeding. I didn't want to freak out so I said I would wait until my next period to see. Now I did notice that I didn't have any cramps or tender breasts at all this "period(?)," which is strange because I also get really bad cramps and sore breasts every month. That was actually really nice for a change. The day after it was over I started having sort of period-like cramps for 10 days straight with no period. I was about to call the doctor because it was so weird, but then it stopped. On 4/28/12 I had spotting no cramps or sore breasts. One time I wiped and it was very small amount of pink tinged with just a little bit of brown streaks. It was only one time that day and one time the next day 4/29/12. Then nothing else until about 1 pm the next day 4/30/12. I actually went to WalMart and bought a pregnancy test and as I was walking out the door to leave and I felt the period starting feeling. So I haven't used it yet. I am now having that really light flow period like I had on 4/2/12 but have some cramping now. It is 5/1/12 and still having this really light period. All of this is very unusual and I have never ever had anything like this before. I was excited for a minute thinking I might be pregnant (even though I am not really trying to get pregnant) but now I am worried something is wrong "down there." Has this happened to anybody else? Any advise? I have a doctor appointment later this week but I am worried.

Hello, I need some advice! My period is 13 days late, and i'm normally a regular 28 day cycle. I have taken 2 test first response both negative, i followed the directions and did it first thing in the morning. I have had slight spotting, very pink, not consecutively. I have abdominal cramping. I am extremely tired, and I have insomnia, but i'm not sure if that is due to my college classes or not. Im not stressed and I eat like i always have. I want to know what others think before i head to the doctors. I want to know if i have a legitimate reason to or not. My fiance and I would be estatic if we were!

Hi need some advice me and my husband are ttc and I had some cramping 5 days in a row before my period was due and I had sore breasts and I have never experienced that ever. I also had lower back pain and I was very tired the day after my period was due I started to experience some bleeding like a normal period but my second day of bleeding it has gone brown and very light and my periods are normally heavy. Now on my third day it's is still very light and brown. Has anyone experienced this before. Could I be pregnant?

December 12, 2014 - 11:11amI am experiencing pain in my thighs, lower stomach and very close to my hip bone. I was concerned so I ended up seeing a doctor, they took blood and said nothing was wrong. It's been 2-3 days since the visit with the doctor and the pain still remains following with what appears to be blood when I wipe. I've done some searching on the internet and now I'm very worried. can someone PLEASE help me with this.

My advice is to call your primary physician back and report that the pain persists.
Are you due to start your period?
Only your physician knows your medical history, can do a physical exam and has the laboratory reports. You cannot make a diagnosis based on what you read on the internet. I cannot make a diagnosis, only a physician who can examine you can do that. If you are not satisfied with your current physician, seek a second opinion.

I'm 20 and the last time I had unprtected sex was September 18th since then I've had a normal period in October, my period for November came late, && now I'm a week+ some days late on my period. I get bad cramps like I'm about to start but it never arrived. Plus I'm having cravings and some morning sickness along with fatigue & sore breast. I'm sure I'm not pregnant since I did have 2 periods since my last course but is there still a possibility that I could be. I've spotted pink twice already but it went away still no period.

Hi so I had sex on the 22nd and with me having a irregular cycle im not sure when my cycle coming on so I estimated Dec. 3 and nothing I been having backaches and cramps like I usually do when its that time of the month but nothing today I experience some cramps and pains and felt like for a minute it was on but when I went to the bathroom later on I just wipe light pink blood but now its gone any advice?

I'm normally due on the 29th. But I took some antibiotics on the 29th n the 30th of October. it stopped my period until I didn't take I so on the 31st it started to make its way. But then I had sex. and it then returned the next morning. I had a full out period. Then boom , I had sex with my bf a couple weeks before my period was due. the day when my period was supposed to come I got really moody. and experienced the bare minimum of cramping. But when I wiped I only had one pink streak and nothing more. idk . pregnant? not sure.
