I am 32 and have 3 children. I am not on any birth control and my periods are always on a 28 day cycle. They are always heavy with a lot of clotting and last between 4-6 days. On 4/2/12 I started what I figured was my period but it was really light. My husband and I also had sex the same day with a possibility of an "oops." I prepared for a heavy flow with a pad and it didn't get anything on it all day. I only had blood when I wiped. It wasn't as light as spotting but I have never had such a light period. The next morning it was pinkish brown when I wiped. Halfway through the day it was completely gone. I never had that happen before. I did a bunch of searching online and it sounded like implantation bleeding. I didn't want to freak out so I said I would wait until my next period to see. Now I did notice that I didn't have any cramps or tender breasts at all this "period(?)," which is strange because I also get really bad cramps and sore breasts every month. That was actually really nice for a change. The day after it was over I started having sort of period-like cramps for 10 days straight with no period. I was about to call the doctor because it was so weird, but then it stopped. On 4/28/12 I had spotting no cramps or sore breasts. One time I wiped and it was very small amount of pink tinged with just a little bit of brown streaks. It was only one time that day and one time the next day 4/29/12. Then nothing else until about 1 pm the next day 4/30/12. I actually went to WalMart and bought a pregnancy test and as I was walking out the door to leave and I felt the period starting feeling. So I haven't used it yet. I am now having that really light flow period like I had on 4/2/12 but have some cramping now. It is 5/1/12 and still having this really light period. All of this is very unusual and I have never ever had anything like this before. I was excited for a minute thinking I might be pregnant (even though I am not really trying to get pregnant) but now I am worried something is wrong "down there." Has this happened to anybody else? Any advise? I have a doctor appointment later this week but I am worried.

Hi, I have irregulary period and i was 29days late. And today i was suffering from terrible pain and when i used the washroom, I did bleed but not in the pad. why is this?? do i have to consult a doctor. what do you think is the problem coz I am a bit scared to go to the doctors too. Is something terribly wrong with me??

You mention that you have irregular periods. Has your period ever been 29 days late?
Where are you having pain? Did you notice bleeding in the toilet bowl after you urinated? Did you have any further bleeding?
Depending on your age, the reason why your periods are irregular, and if you have been having unprotected sex, there are several reasons for such a long delay in the start of your period.
You may need to schedule an appointment with your doctor.

I am trying to conceive. And this month my periods showed on right time I.e 20th of Oct and today still being 23rd of Oct I.e my 4th day of period I don't have a heavy flow... It's just some blood clots coming at times... Very scanty... What should I expect ??

Hey guys I need some help. My fiancé and I got intimate about 10 days ago. He went inside me but only for a moment and he wasn't near cumming. He came outside of me later on. The past three days, I have had different types of spotting but only when I wipe. It is only on the toilet paper whenever I use the bathroom never in my underwear. My period should be this week. I'm scared its implantation (I'm not ready for a baby), could it be? We didn't have full sex, but he did go inside for just a moment. Why is this bleeding so light that I don't even need a pad? It's happened off and on for three days now. Advice please

I had unprotected sex and took an ecp in 72 hours. I then got my period on time with heavy flow on first day with blood clots. So am i pregnant?

If it was a heavy period with clots probably not pregnant but Wait until your next period and if it doesn't show and get a blood test done!

On July 31st we had an oops 3 days before ovulating. And started what I thought was my period on the 16th of august which was a day before I should have started. This is the third day and there's only been a very little amount of blood when I wipe and mostly just brown discharge. Usually my period's are very heavy with lots of clotting and last 5-7 days. I've taken a home pregnancy test 3 days befor my expected period and it was negative.

If you wait a week or so you should be able to find out wheather you'll have a normal period or it might not be comming take a pregnancy test your body might not have enough HCG levels to detect whether you're pregnant or not. I gave mine a week had light spotting went to the doctors and did a blood test found out I am pregnant! Good luck! Sometimes also you can ovulate 2 times in a month if your ovulation has been disturbed. I had spotted a whole 2 weeks because i was so stressed out and it was distributing my cycle! If you missed you period and it hasn't come within two weeks and a home pregnancy test isn't working go get a blood test much more accurate and you'd know for sure!

I had my period at the beginning of July,(had unprotected sex all through July.)But in the last week of July I had a brownish discharge for about 3-4 days. Now August 13 and 10 days late. Pregnant? Or hormones?
