Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

Postinor 2 prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. That protection lasts for one menstrual cycle. The pill should never be taken more than one in a one month menstrual cycle.

If you took the pill this month, do not take it again.

Regards,
Maryann

Please my wife took Postinor 2 on Thursday and we had sex on Friday and Sunday and her assumed ovulation day was Saturday. are we protected or she needs to use another pill now?

Thanks
